1. GENERAL MATTERS

www.dayuse.com is a public website through which rooms and spaces in hotels can be rented by the day or night, in over 25 countries. On this website, Internet users search for availability and advice in order to make a hotel booking. The purpose of these General Terms is to govern the use of the Website’s functions by Internet users. The use of the website is free of charge. Day Use strives to make this website a high-quality tool that enables Internet users to receive relevant information and reliable advice about hotels. All hotels featuring on www.dayuse.com are carefully selected and known for their conscientiousness and ethics. Information or advice on www.dayuse.com is hotel-related only. www.dayuse.com is strictly reserved for persons over the age of 18.

2. LIABILITY

Day Use offers a service whereby it connects its users with hotels for the purpose of renting hotel rooms or spaces, and its liability is limited to the provision of this service. The service that a hotel provides to customers is subject to its own general terms of sale. Day Use cannot, therefore, be held liable for poor service provision by the hotel. The role of Day Use is not to check the identity or activity of persons who use its service. Day Use cannot be held liable for any incident, accident or other event contrary to current regulations that occurs in hotels. Day Use strongly condemns all illegal activities or practices that are contrary to French law and undertakes to cooperate fully with the competent authorities if there are suspicions of fraud, trafficking or other illegal activities detected during the activities of www.dayuse.com

3. DATA CONFIDENTIALITY & PRIVACY

In accordance with privacy laws, Day Use undertakes not to disclose any information in its possession with regard to its customers, except in the event that a duly justified request is made by the competent authorities. The collection of personal data through the www.dayuse.com website and the use that is made of it comply with the requirements of the French Data Processing and Freedoms Act and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 4. BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

Booking and cancellation procedures vary according to the type of product offered: - daytime room bookings can be cancelled at no charge until the last minute, except booking fees paid by bank card which are non-refundable, in accordance with article L 121-21-8-12° of the Consumer Code; - daytime bookings of spaces can be cancelled at no charge until 10:00 (local time) on the day of the booking; - experience or night bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded, except in force majeure circumstances (as defined by regulations). Users are invited to read the detailed terms that are explicitly stated in the particulars of each offer before booking.
